FEATURED POST
How did this happen?
I started journaling my prayer life a decade ago, I learned that when I was writing I felt a real connection to the Lord, like I could hear him speaking. Not with my ears of course but from within my mind. It has been the most gracious beloved gift I have ever received from the Lord.
I read about how to hear God's voice speaking to you,....that started me on a journey I never thought was possible, not for me anyway. So the idea is that you find a comfortable spot where you can be alone and it's quiet, this is very important because you need to clear your mind of any junk that could distract your mind. I will admit this was not an easy task but it is possible and so incredibly WORTH IT.
Once you have gotten comfortable you then write down a question,...I don't think too much about this part because I felt the Holy Spirit guiding me. The first thing that comes to mind I write down. At this point you wait upon the Lord, HE will bring to mind exactly what it is that HE wants to reveal to you.
Ex. Father show me where I need to make change? and be ready for this truth because now you will listen and write everything that comes to mind, Don't stop until HE is done.
This is where everything gets really amazing.
WARNING ; Satan can get in there and fill your mind with all kinds of negative, hateful things. You must know our God to recognize HIS voice.
Never Miss a New Post.
"The beginning is the most important part of the work"
So this is technically the beginning of sharing my writing with others. I have had people tell me in the past that I should write online in a blog but I was very afraid to share my different life experiences and my journey.
So as difficult as it may have been, I was never alone and found myself with inner strength I didn't know I had. God has revealed to me over the last several months that now is the time. Because of chronic back issues I spend a great deal of time reading and writing but thought how can I help or serve others this way. So HE showed me.
Everything in fact has led me to a place where God has shown me and taught me a lot of valuable lessons that led me where I am today. If it weren't for the difficulties, the pain, the trials I would have never received the blessings God had in store for me.
