"I remember where you found me,

I'm amazed at where I stand.

Your cross is the proof, Love made the first move"

Have you ever taken some time to think about your life and the mistakes you've made or the difficulties you have been through? I do and unfortunately, I do it pretty often, but God is working in me on that and quickly gets my mind right when Satan is constantly shoveling junk in. All of the negative garbage that pops up in your mind out of the blue, - it can range from "are you sure you want to wear that ? to "you might be damaging your kids"....for each of us it's different but the effect on us is typically the same.

Why are we so quick to jump to a negative thought or response? Our past and any mistakes we have made... Satan knows and he will throw these things back at us at any time but especially when he knows there may be an opportunity to convince us that God doesn't even care. I remember being in that kind of mindset a few times in my life. Satan played this huge part in always making me feel like the most important people in my life did not care. Why would God allow abuse to continue for almost 11 years, why would God have allowed you to be in relationships where you were not being respected and compromising your morals, why would HE allow the degeneration of your spine to negatively affect the past 18 years of your life" This is the God that people say will love you and forgive you of your sins? Does that sound like something that would happen for you, I mean after everything you have done? Satan puts that kind of garbage in our minds every chance he gets.

Listen to that running through your mind for a while and you start to believe that there is no way possible that God could forgive you, much less love you. Especially if Satan has convinced you at a young age that those closest to you don't care.

Please know that Satan is a gigantic jerk face, a liar, deceiver, " He comes ONLY to steal, and kill, and destroy everything, especially those who love the Lord. I like to remind him often that I know how his story ends.

Just a few scriptures to read;

John 8:44 John 10:10

1 Peter 5:8 Romans 8:38

God is so good and despite what we go through in our lives, HE is always there working things out for our very good. Sometimes that is really hard to understand, especially when tragic things happen. In my life, HE has given me peace when I expected to fall apart. HE has comforted me in my pain and has shown me over and over again that if I TRUST in HIM and turn to HIM in FAITH that everything will work out in my life. Keep in mind that doesn't mean everything will be worked out tomorrow but trust me when I say it will be so much better than anything we could come up with on our own.
